Breakdown of Outstanding Central Government Debt

This dataset provides an annual time-series of Sri Lanka’s Central Government Debt, disaggregated into total domestic and foreign debt in LKR billions. It includes a breakdown by creditor type, such as the banking sector (Central Bank and commercial banks) and non-banking sector (EPF, insurance, and individuals), as well as bilateral and multilateral foreign holdings, enabling a comprehensive analysis of the debt structure.
